TORONTO – Police have identified a body found by a kayaker in the Humber River Saturday.
Staff Sgt. Tim Ralph says police were called to the scene around 1:30 p.m. after the kayaker discovered the body, which was entangled in low-hanging tree branches.
Police say the body was that of a Toronto man in his 40s who had been reported missing.
Police are still determining an exact cause of death.
The man’s name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
