A woman was sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after her car crashed into a ravine early Thursday morning.
The car careened off the road in the Dixon Road and Scarlett Road area and landed about 90 metres into a ravine leading to the Humber River.
The woman was able to crawl out of the ravine.
Police and tow trucks brought in repelling equipment just before 7 a.m. in an attempt to drag the car out of the ravine.
